An affiliate of the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples, NCC also holds special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

We Have Always Been Here

For generations, NunatuKavut Inuit have lived, thrived, and led on our lands in South and Central Labrador. Today, we continue that leadership by advancing a comprehensive land claim with the Government of Canada – one that affirms our inherent rights and reflects our identity as a distinct Inuit people.

OUR VISION

Our Vision is to govern ourselves, providing and caring for one another, our families, and our communities while nurturing our relationship with our land, ice, and waters.
